To Upload a video to Tudou here are the steps (see screen prints below):

On the top line on the main page, there is an orange box with an up arrow in it.

Click on that to go to the upload page

On the upload page, beside the first box there is a button, click on that and select the piece you want to upload from your computer

On the second box (Video Name), put a name. I am not sure how the name you put works but I have been keeping it standard. So if I am uploading OBGYN EP 15 part 1 I would call it GY151

On the third box (description) Using the same OBGYN example would put GY15p1

On the fourth box (Category) I haven't figured out what each one is but I select 2 which I think is TV

On the fifth box (Tagname) I put the same as the third box GY15p1

Then just click on the bottom button and the upload will start. You have to keep the page open but you can go to other windows while its going.

When the upload finishes, there is another screen that comes up while the Tudou background process finishes. You will see a spinning circle (looks like the same as youtube on the left near the top) You have to keep that open as well but same as the previous you can switch to other windows while it finishes.

Sometimes you get a little pic of the video when its done and sometimes I get some error that says it won't display the pic but its ok. Just click on the button.

To get the URL for the video, on the top right of the page on the second line is that box with the small down arrow. Put your curor over it (don't click on it because then you go to some other page I haven't figured out) and then click the 2nd choice which will take you to the videos you have uploaded. Then just find the one you uploaded and right click on the name to get the url.

Note: You can run multiple uploads at the same time by opening another window in your browser. For me, I get the best performance uploading 2 at most. I tried 3 but the 3rd was uploading around 10kps compared to 40-80 which I normally get.

I am sure these directions are a bit rough and can be improved. I just figured it out using Google Translate.

NOTE: I have heard and also had intermittent issues uploading to Tudou. It looks like the upload completes but then it doesn't show up in my video list. No idea why. I just redo the upload again. Sometimes I have had to do it more than 2 times to get it to work.
