Singer-actor Rain has finished filming his action movie set for release in the latter half of this year.
On his Twitter account on Friday, Rain wrote "We're finally done filming the movie. I'm done with another project. Please look forward to it," with a photograph of himself and fellow actor Oh Dal-soo in uniforms.
The movie, titled "Take Off: Closer to the Sun" is a remake of the 1964 Korean movie "Red Muffler" and will also star actress Shin Se-gyeong.
The movie tells the story of life, love and comradeship of fighter pilots amid the risky situation on the Korean Peninsula and Rain will play the role of a fighter pilot while Shin is a mechanic.
Also considered an Asian pop sensation, Rain is also set to tour Korea for over a month starting mid-August for which he released a song just last week.
He is set to enter the military sometime this year to fulfill the two-year service required of all Korean men but a date has yet to be set.
