Asian superstar Rain will reveal a new song next week to commemorate his upcoming nationwide concert tour in Korea, according to his agency J.Tune Camp.
On Thursday, J.Tune announced in a press release that Rain will unveil his self-composed new song "Girl of Busan (translated title)" on August 16.
The press release also explained that Rain had revised the title and lyrics of the song in accordance to his Korea tour "The Best Show" which will kick off at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO) of Busan on August 13 and 14.
He will then hit the road for his concert which will also take place in Daegu, Jeju Island, Gwangju, Daejeon and wrap up at Seoul's Olympic Park Stadium on September 24 and 25.
"As of right now, we don't have any plans for Rain to promote the song on any televised programs," an official from J.Tune was quoted as saying, adding that he will only perform the song at his concerts.
Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has been considered one of biggest stars in Korea and throughout Asia since the start to his solo singing career in 2002.
He is currently shooting action pic "Take Off: Closer to the Sun" which is a remake of the 1964 Korean movie "Red Muffler."
