Some basic words worth knowing
ka - used at the end of the sentence for politeness [female]
krub - [male]
Pra-ek - leading actor
Nang-ek / N'ek - leading actress
P' / Pi - refer to an older person
N' / Nong - refer to a younger person
Khun - polite prefix to address someone of higher social status or someone worth the respect.
Ai - impolite way to address a person, usually male. Sometimes it's used between closed friends
Nang - impolite, female
Sawaddee - Hello
Khorp Khun - thank you
Chan Ruk Ter - I love you
