Actor Lee Min Ho's equestrian skills will be on display in the upcoming SBS drama, Rooftop Prince.

Lee will play the role of Song Man Bo, the young teacher of the crown prince (Park Yoo Chun), in the Rooftop Prince, which will premiere in March.

In the drama, Song is a genius and the youngest to pass the civil service exam, with an uncanny ability for recalling words, numbers and images. He also excels in many different fields, from the liberal arts to the military, and will showcase his horseback riding skills to viewers.

Previously, Lee displayed his equestrian skills in his role as Prince Yang Myung in The Sun and The Moon. After the news of Yeon Woo's (Kim Yoo Jung) death, the viewers saw him riding away on horseback. Lee, who did not use a stunt double, caught the attention of viewers with his skillful horsemanship and martial arts ability.

In a recent phone conversation with enews, Lee said, "I took riding lessons in preparation for my role in The Sun and The Moon but I will also be able to showcase my equestrian skills in the Rooftop Prince. I feel (the lessons) have helped a lot, especially in the horseback scenes with Yoo Chun hyung and Jung Seok Won hyung."

Lee was one of the driving forces behind the popularity of The Sun and The Moon through his lovable acting, and it will be interesting to see if he can continue to attract audiences to yet another historical drama in the Rooftop Prince.

The Rooftop Prince, starring Park Yoo Chun, Han Ji Min, Jung Yu Mi and Jung Seuk Won, is a romantic comedy about a prince (Lee Gak), who has to time-travel 300 years to the 21st century in Seoul to find his true love. The show will premiere on March 14, following Take Care of Us, Captain.
