Photographs of female idol group Girls' Generation member Yoona from her upcoming series co-starring actor Jang Keun-suk has been revealed.
A press release by the show's promoter Y Tree Media on Wednesday disclosed two photos of Yoona as the character Kim Yoon-hee she will play whilst the series is set in the 1970s in the drama tentatively titled "Love Rain."
Yoona will also play the role of the cheerful and loveable Haru, Yoon-hee's daughter, when the show moves to the year 2012.
Jang, who will take on the role of Seo In-ha, will do anything Yoon-hee, the woman he loves. The drama will compare that love to relationships during the present time.
The upcoming series, scheduled to air in the country during the first half of next year, is a collaboration between famed director Yoon Suk-ho and scenarist Oh Soo-yeon who has worked on hit series "Autumn Tale" and "Winter Sonata.
