KBS medical drama "Brain" saw its third victory atop the Monday and Tuesday primetime lineup during the second week of January.
On Wednesday, TNmS' (Total National Multimedia Statistics) data revealed that the Shin Ha-kyun and Choi Jung-won starrer delivered ratings of 16.5 percent on January 9 and led the way the following day as well with ratings of 17.6 percent.
"Brain," two episodes away from its finale, managed to be the No. 1 show on AGB Nielsen Media's survey too with scores of 15.4 percent on Monday and 16.2 percent on Tuesday night.
This week's episode focused on how doctor Lee Kang-hoon (Shin) and doctor Kim Sang-chul (Jung Jin-young) reconciled their differences and Kim took the blame for a fault that Lee made during a surgical procedure.
MBC's "Light and Shadow" and SBS' "Salaryman, Cho Han Ji" put up a fight for the No. 2 spot on the Monday and Tuesday primetime lineup both recording viewership ratings in the ten to 13 percentile range.
