
Korean actor Park Hae-jin will receive an award at an upcoming ceremony in China which recognizes the best in TV and film, according to his agency WM Entertainment on Wednesday.
WM announced through a press release that Park will receive the prize for most popular Asian actor for his role in Chinese series "Another Shiny Life" (translated title) at the "2012 LETV Movie and Drama Award Ceremony" set to take place in Beijing on March 23.
"Another Shiny Life" helmed by famed Chinese director Lin He Long, tells the story of a singer who, due to a car accident, has to live his life as another person.
It has received favorable reviews and ratings since airing in the country in early December of last year.
Park became a household name after appearing in 2006 with a role in KBS TV series "Famous Princesses" and has since starred in various dramas including "Like Land and Sky," "East of Eden" and "Hot Blood."
He will make his big screen debut in Korea through movie "Snow Sea" (translated title) set to crank in next month.
