
Korean film "The Crucibles," starring Gong Yoo and Jung Yu-mi, will open in select theaters in North America next month, according to its official website on Friday.
The website showed that "The Crucibles" is scheduled to open in Southern California, Las Vegas, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago on November 4.
It will also make its premiere in Seattle, Portland and in Canada the same day while it had opened in Los Angeles last week.
In "The Crucibles," Gong Yoo plays a school teacher who comes across a sexual violence case committed in a school for hearing-impaired people. Jung takes on the role of a human rights activist that joins in the efforts to publicize the case against the school's staff and other officers.
The picture has so far attracted close to 4.5 million moviegoers and maintained its position in the top ten of the local box office since opening in local theaters on September 22.
