There are some words that if you know, it would be easier to understand the drama: lakorn = thai drama sawaddee = hello/hi or goodbye krub = polite word that end the sentence (for male) ka = polite word that end the sentence (for female) khun = mr. or ms. used in front of the name to call people with respect, polite as well (both female and male) chan = I, more of casual word for I (used by female more often but can also be used for male too) di chan = formal word for I (female only) pom = I, more of casual word for I (used by male only) kra pom = formal word for I (male only) Pee/P' = used in front of name to call someone that is a little older, like older brother or older... Hi everyone, I'm Gingerbread I'm not saying that I'm expert on this, but I think I do have some experiences on putting subtitles. :) Don't worry if you did some mistakes, I did a lot of them too when I started subbing. 1) In one segment, if there're two speeches by one character or two characters, you can put <br><br> in between, to let one appear first then followed by the second one. 2) In one segment, if the speech is quite long, you can separate the speech into two sentences but shown at the same time.
