[10] SBS "The Warrior, Baek Dong-soo" rises as winner, "Ripley" makes quiet exit



SBS' historical drama "The Warrior, Baek Dong-soo" was named the new winner on the Monday and Tuesday night primetime lineup while MBC's "Miss Ripley" made a quiet exit.

According to figures released by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Wednesday, "Baek Dong-soo," starring Ji Chang-wook and Yoo Seung-ho, recorded an average viewership rating of 15.8 percent showing an increase of almost three percentage points compared to the previous week.

The series saw slightly lower ratings on AGB Nielsen Media Research, accumulating an average viewership rating of 14.7 percent.

This week's episode focused on the reunion between Baek Dong-soo (Ji Chang-wook) and Kim Kwang-taek (Jeon Gwang-ryeol).

Meanwhile, MBC's "Miss Ripley" ended its two-month run at No. 2 with average viewership ratings of 12 to 15 percent on both TV charts.

The series will be succeeded by historical drama "Gyebaek" featuring Lee Seo-jin, Cho Jae-hyun, Cha In-pyo, Oh Yun-soo and T-ara member Hyomin.

Trailing behind in third place with ratings in the six percent range was KBS' romantic comedy "Spy Myung-wol," starring Han Ye-seul and Shinhwa's Eric.
