"The Sun and the Moon" is a historical fantasy romance about the love between a royal princess who has to live as a shaman and her relationship with King Lee Hwon.
Han Ga-in and Kim Soo-hyeon have been cast as Yeon-woo and Lee Hwon while Jeong Il-woo is Lee Hwon's half-brother General Yang Myeong, who lives a free life.
Initially Joo Won had been cast for the role of Lee Hwon but had to step down due to the extension of his current drama, KBS's "Ojak Brothers".
"The Sun and the Moon" will be shown after "Me Too, Flower!" ends in January.
Meanwhile, Jeong Il-woo is currently doing very well in the tvN drama "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop".
