
Actor Ko Soo and actress Han Hyo-joo have been cast as the main characters to a romantic movie, according to their agency on Monday.
A press release by BH Entertainment stated that the two will appear in a movie whose title can be translated into "Band-Aid."
The movie will tell of how a fire fighter, who lost his wife, starts getting healed of his pain after meeting a female doctor who had closed off her heart from getting into a relationship.
Director Jung Ki-hoon who last helmed popular pic "Goodbye Mom" with Choi Gang-hee and Kim Young-ae in 2009 will take the reigns for the upcoming movie.
Ko, 33, entered the entertainment industry with an appearance in singer Position's music video for song "Letter" in 1998 and has since appeared in numerous dramas and films.
His most notable roles include the TV series "Piano" (SBS, 2001) and "Will it Snow for Christmas?" (SBS, 2009) and movies "White Night" (2009), "Haunters" (2010) and "Frontline" (2011).
Han, 24, rose to stardom throughout Korea and Asia after starring as the heroine in SBS' "Brilliant Legacy" in 2009.
She last starred in director Son Il-gon's film "Always" opposite actor So Ji-sub which was the opening film at the 16th Busan International Film Festival and is currently filming a historical movie co-starring actor Lee Byung-hun.
