Some of the hottest names in the Korean music scene -- TVXQ, Super Junior, 2PM, Girls' Generation, 2NE1 and Wonder Girls -- came together to perform this year's hits at SBS' "2011 Korea Pop Music Festival" yesterday.
The night started off with a joint performance by SM Entertainment's Super Junior and Girls' Generation at Ilsan Kintex on December 29 while the festivities was hosted by actress Song Ji-hyo, singer Lee Seung-gi and Yoona.
The show continued with a dance performance of Beyonce's hit "Run the World" by Brown Eyed Girls' Ga-in, T-ara's Jiyeon, 4minute's Hyun-a, Secret's Sunhwa, miss A's Min and G.NA.
KARA and 2PM, Kim Hyun-joong and After School, IU and BEAST's Yo-seop as well as K.Will and Tiffany of Girls' Generation also took the stage for various joint performances while INFINITE and MBLAQ, T-ara, Brown Eyed Girls, f(x) and miss A came together for a powerful dance number.
LeeSSang member Gary, Dynamic Duo and Yoon Mirae rocked the stage with a hip-hop performance and FTIsland, CNBLUE, December and K.Will displayed several rock and ballad songs.
Other performances included those by idol groups Boyfriend, A PINK, B1A4, SISTAR and DAL★SHABET.
