
Korean singer and actor Lee Seung-gi has signed with top Japanese talenthouse Amuse Entertainment, according to his agency Hook Entertainment.
An official with Hook told 10Asia on Thursday that Lee's upcoming activities in Japan will be overseen by Amuse who manages the careers of top Japanese artists and actors including Ruito Aoyagi, Perfume, Shuhei, FLOW and flumpool.
"Lee will hold a fan meeting in Japan at the Tokyo International Forum on January 29 ahead of his official debut in the country," the official explained.
She added that Lee's Japanese single will be released in March although its exact date of availability has yet to be announced.
Lee has already made a name for himself in Japan through his TV series "Shining Inheritance" and SBS' variety show "Strong Heart."
Making his debut in 2004 with album "The Dream of a Moth," Lee expanded his career into the different branches of entertainment including acting and hosting variety shows.
He most recently made his comeback to the local music scene with his studio release "Tonight" and promoted title track "Love Time."
