English Sub Progress & Translation Notes

To the Team and our Supporters,

If there are any issues with the videos, please report the issues in the comments below. We cannot fix the problems that are not reported. We cannot promise to be quick in our response time, but we will try our best to fix the issues that come up. The following chart shows our English Subtitling process, the timings for empty segments that need to be filled in, the videos that need to be fixed, as well as the percentages for each episode and part.

SUBBERS: Please put the timings for any subtitles that you have filled in so that we can cross them off of our list.

Thank you,

TRANSLATION AND SUBTITLE NOTES
 • Use APPROPRIATE PUNCTUATION marks (Ex. .,!?)
 • CAPITALIZE the beginning of each new sentence as well as all the names and titles.
 • If the sentence fades please use 3 periods (Ex. ...)
 • Use parentheses ( ) when subtitling a character's thoughts.
 • Use to italicize song lyrics.
 • Use at the end of song lyrics to stop other sentences from being italicized.
 •
is used to move a subtitle down a line. Please avoid using this unless:

- There are hard subs on the video
- There are two people talking at once
- You need to break up a sentence
- You want to fill in a segment in which the subtitle isn't needed

 • Adjust the subtitle timing if required.
 • To delete a subtitle that is not needed: First click on the "!" triangle, second click on the trash can (delete button), and finally click save to remove the unnecessary subtitle.
 • To leave a subber a comment in the subbed pop up box; first click on the number next to the subber's name and then you can click on "+" sign of the subber you want to leave the comment for.
 • Avoid using multiple punctuation marks at the end of a sentence or capitalizing a whole sentence.
 • Please include "Brought To You By The Rich Girl @ viki.com" somewhere in each episode part.
 • Please include name beginnings or endings if they are indicated in the original script (ex. -san, -kun, Mr., Mrs., ect)
 • If you cannot successfully subtitle the whole sentence that is heard within a certain segment, please leave the segment for another subber to translate. Translating a segment partially prevents the progress of the subtitles as it skews the percentage of completion rate.
