Actress Han Ye-seul will promote her new movie in Korea starting next month, her agency said on Tuesday.
According to Han's agency SidusHQ and officials with film "Saving Up for Romance" (translated title), Han will take part in the promotional activities for the movie in early October.
It was uncertain whether the actress would promote the movie since she stirred much confusion and controversy in the country last month with her abrupt departure from KBS TV series "Spy Myung-Wol" last month over "unfair working conditions."
The actress returned several days later however, apologized for the actions and rejoined the show. She has been taking a break in the U.S. after wrapping up the series which ended its run earlier this month.
The upcoming movie, a romantic comedy about the money-building adventure of two young people trying to make 200 million won, co-stars actor Song Joong-ki and is set for a release in late October or early November.
Song will play a pathetic college graduate named Ji-woong who is always depending on his mom for extra cash while hardly earning a thing for himself while Han's character Hong-shil will be the complete opposite of him, a ruthless penny pincher who denounces all activities that involve wasting money.
