According to Asian Economic News, Jeon Ji-Hyun's agency announced that rumors she will play Riiko's role in the drama "Absolute Boyfriend" were false. Agency Sidus-HQ said they didn't decide whether she will be in the drama yet and are still discussing what will be her comeback drama. Since 1999's Happy Together, Jeon Ji-Hyun hasn't been shown on TV screen for 10 years. Also, Kong Yu's agency said that nothing has been decided for his next project. So nothing is finalized.
Some said in the Kdrama version, the lead is not a teenager but a 30-year old woman. I am not sure whether I like this adaptation, similar to Jdrama version. I read the original comic book, Zettai Kareshi and much adore characters as they are. I hope Kdrama version will follow closely how Yuu Watase portrayed characters.
