[10] Lee Jun-ki to be discharged from military in Feb 2012


Korean actor Lee Jun-ki, currently serving Korea's two-year mandatory military duties, will be discharged from his post in February of next year.

Lee's official Facebook webpage showed that Lee will be relieved of his military duties as of February 16 of next year and will then hold a series of fan meetings in Japan the following month.

His fan meetings titled "2012 Coming Back" will take place at the Century Hall in Nayoga on March 16, Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama two days later and wrap up at the Grand Cube in Osaka on March 19.

Lee shot to stardom after starring in the 2005 hit movie "The King and the Clown" and has since starred in TV series "My Girl," "Iljimae" and "Hero."

He entered the military in May 2010 and is a DJ for a segment of Korea's Defense Media Agency's radio program "What I What to Give and Stories I Want to Hear" (translated titled).
