Welcome to the Segmenter101 channel! To begin, please read this steps:

The SEGMENTER 101 Kit:
1) SUBSCRIBE to the channel.

2) PM a Co-ordinator OR Manager of our team: Please let us know whether you :

are a total newbie or you have some experience.

3) After we get the information from you, we will assign you a practice video(PV). Please do constantly look out for updates in our Project Report.

We will post your ID, video link, and Mentor.

4) After you are done segmenting your assigned practice video,please PM

(private message) your assigned Mentor .

*Do this for every video you've finished. [PM video url too]

5) Mentor: There is at least 1 mentor for each student.

6) If you would like to practice some more, please contact one of the mods.

7) 8 days to access and complete assigned video.

If still not done within 8 days, your name will be listed in the "To Cut" list

(i.e. you will be cut off from this channel). But will are kind souls here,

so if your name is on the list, that means you have THREE(3) more days left

before we really cut you.

8) If you've requested to be on the list but have not yet been assigned a video for over 1 week, Please PM one of the mods.

Our goal is to create a great channel for everyone to enjoy and contribute. We work hard and try our best so Vikiers can enjoy the best segmented video. We will work hard and listen to all of positive comments.



To all Staff, Mentors, Tutors, & Trainees of Segmenter101,



This is a notice to inform you of certain changes going on in The Segmenter 101 Program, as of 06-APR-2011.



We have noticed that some of the trainees who have been with us for a while have slacked very much, so now we are setting a new policy to have a fast and efficient training at 101. We need to clear all the non-active trainees and have the current and VERY active trainees graduate fast, to lessen our burdens and loads.





In light of this we, Mint, The FBI Team, and The Cut Off team, have decided to implement the following Cut Off Rules, so we can accommodate more active trainees.







TRAINEES CURRENTLY WITHIN THE PROGRAM.


  • 8 days to access and complete assigned video
  • Trainee MUST finish segmenting their assigned video within 2 days, and indicate in the comment section under the video, when they have started and finish segmenting
  • After Reviews by Mentor and Tutors, the trainee has 3-5 days to make corrections
  • If there is no action done within the given time, ONLY ONE warning notice will be issued
  • If there is no response for 3 days after the notice was issued, the trainee will be CUT






TRAINEE WHO ASK FOR LEAVE.


  • Trainee is allowed ONE month of leave. Any longer, it is negotiable
  • Trainee MUST return on the scheduled date
  • If Trainee do NOT return on the scheduled date , ONLY ONE warning notice will be issued
  • If there is no response within the 3 day grace period issued after the scheduled date of return, the trainee will be CUT


TRAINEES WHO RETURN UNDER PROBATION.


  • Trainee will be under probation for 3 assigned videos
  • 5 days to access and complete assigned video
  • Trainee MUST finish segmenting their video in ONE setting. The trainee cannot leave the video unfinished
  • After Reviews by Mentors and Tutors , the trainee has 2-3 days to make corrections
  • If there is no action done within the given time, ONLY ONE warning notice will be issued
  • If there is no response for 3 days after the notice was issued, the trainee will be CUT
  • If the trainee is NOT active enough during the probation period, the trainee will be CUT


　



REVIEWS & CORRECTIONS.



We ask ALL Mentors, Tutors, and Trainees to place all Reviews, and Corrections, in the Comment Section under the Videos. We know of situations where some of our students are unable to see these comments under their videos, so Mentors and Tutors tend to PM their Reviews to the Students inbox, this is perfectly fine, you can continue to do this, but we, The FBI Team, also need to see those Reviews and Corrections, so they can be taken into account as to how, or if the trainee, needs to be evaluated, by us.



'FAKE SUBS'



A reminder to everyone, 'Fake Subs' are allowed ONLY on PV1 and PV2 videos. Mentors and Tutors, if at any time, you notice any of the trainees placing 'Fake Subs' on RPV videos, please remind them this is a 'no, no', and have them remove the 'fake subs' immediately.



VIDEO CHECKS



Trainees, if at any time you have not heard a response from your Mentor or Tutor in 3 days, regarding your PV and (or) RPV, you must post a request for any available Mentors or Tutors to check your video in the ~ PV wait for check: level 1, level 2 and Real project ~ Topic Post. This is so that we can keep the learning process of segmenting smooth, and efficient, and get you closer to graduation.



In conclusion, all Staff, Mentors, Tutors, & Trainees of Segmenter101 are expected to adhere to the above Rules and Changes. If there are any questions and (or) concerns, please feel free to contact, Mint, The FBI Team, or The Cut Off team in the~Newbie activity status~ Topic Post.
