[10] "Thousand Days Promise" does well for 5th straight week


SBS' melodrama "Thousand Days Promise" maintained its hold on the No. 1 spot on Monday and Tuesday nights during the third week of November.

Starring Kim Rae-won and Soo-ae, "Promise" earned a 15.8 percent rating on November 14 which increased by 0.4 percentage points the following night, according to the data from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Wednesday.

The series also claimed the top spot on AGB Nielsen Media Research's chart with ratings of 16.2 percent on Monday night and 17.2 percent of the country tuned in last night.

This week's episode focused on Kang Soo-jung (Kim Hae-sook) disapproving of her son Ji-hyung (Kim Rae-won) marrying Soo-yeon (Soo-ae) after finding out that her condition is worsening.

On both charts, MBC's historical drama "Gyebaek" held onto its title as the second most-watched show in the country with ratings in the nine to 11 percent range.

KBS' new medical drama "Brain," starring Shin Ha-kyun and Choi Jung-won, began its run on a high note with scores in the eight percentile.
