Sikarin is a small country where it still rules by the King. The important good is "petroleum" which attracted to the business men from many countries.

King Wisanu plans to change from "Absolute Monarchy" to "Democracy" system by returning the power to his subject, but HRH Wongsa, King's Wisanu's younger brother, doesn't want to do that and wish to be next King of Sikarin.

HRH Wongsa conspires with Gen. Saratoon to overthrow King Wisanu so he wants to take Princess Napatsarawadee as a hostage.

King Wisanu awares that Princess Napatsarawadee, who currently study in France, would be in danger so he decides to send her to Thailand for her safety, but don't tell her about current situation.

Pol , works for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also responsible for finding a trustworthy bodyguard to protect Princess Napatsarawadee. Due to top secret mission that they can't reveal true status of the princess neither corporate with the polices, Pol recommends Nam Chiew, a professional bodyguard also his closed friend, to take this job.

At the first day of arrival, Napatsorn (A.K.A. Princess Napatsarawadee) is strictly controlled by Nam Chiew that make she so upset. Nam Chiew used to be a police so his personality quite serious and well disciplines. Being as a princess, Napatsorn has never been treated like the way that Nam Chiew does. To win over him she tries to disobey his order. However, Nam Chiew used his experiences to subdue / win over her all the time. Even though angry with him, at the same time admires his talent, as well as Nam Chiew that impressed in Napatsorn.

Sikarin is in chaos since HRH Wongsa rules the country, Sikarin asks thai government to send Princess Napatsarawadee back, with this news spread over the world so Nam Chiew knows that Napatsorn is Princess Napatsarawadee. He's so upset that he's been fooled. Due to the political situation, Thai government decides to send Princess Napatsarawadee back to Sikarin. Pol asks Nam Chiew to help her to escape from being sent back to Sikarin because she might be executed. Nam Chiew takes Napatsorn to his hometown in Rayong (and that time the come to an understanding each other)

Finally, The princess was taken by Gen. Saratoon and brought back to Sikarin, He wants to use her as a hostage to forced King Wisanu to abdicate to HRH Wongsa.

Nam Chiew decids to go to sikarin to rescue the princess. Will he be able to do that? How will the love between princess and ordinary man will be?

ศิขริน เป็นประเทศเล็กๆ ที่มีการปกครองในระบบกษัตริย์ ที่ร่ำรวยด้วยทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ทำให้พ่อค้านักธุรกิจนานาชาติต่างสนใจที่จะทำการค้าขายกับศขริน ความวุ่นวายเริ่มขึ้นเมื่อ เจ้าวิษณุ เจ้าทรงสวรรค์องค์ปัจจุบันมีดำริที่จะเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองให้เป็นระบบประชาธิปไตย สร้างความไม่พอใจให้แก่เจ้าวงศา อนุชาผู้อ่อนแอ ที่ต้องการจะรักษาอำนาจการปกครองเอาไว้ในมือตน เจ้าวงศามีแผนจะทำร้ายเจ้าวิษณุเพื่อตนเองจะได้ขึ้นครองราชย์ แต่เจ้าวิษณุรู้ทันแผนการ จึงมีคำสั่งให้เพ็ญโสม พระพี่เลี้ยง เดินทางไปรับตัวเจ้าหญิงนภัสสราวดีไปพักผ่อนที่ประเทศไทย การเดินทางครั้งนี้เจ้าหญิงจะเปิดเผยฐานันดรศักดิ์ที่แท้จริงให้ใครรู้ไม่ได้

พล มีหน้าที่หาผู้คุมกันมือดีมาอารักขาความปลอดภัยให้กับเจ้าหญิง และด้วยความจำเป็นที่ไม่อาจเปิดเผยตัวจริงของเจ้าหญิง จึงไม่สามารถใช้เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจทำงานนี้ได้ พลจึงเสนอจ้างให้น้ำเชี่ยว เพื่อนสนิทของเขาให้มาทำงานนี้ วันแรกที่นภัสสรมาถึงเมืองไทย เธอก็ถูกน้ำเชี่ยวควบคุมบังคับอย่างเข้มงวด ทำให้นัภสสรไม่พอใจมาก จึงตั้งหน้าตั้งตาขัดคำสั่ง และพยายามจะเอาชนะน้ำเชี่ยวตลอดเวลา แต่น้ำเชี่ยวก็อาศัยความสามารถที่เหนือกว่าปราบนภัสสรได้ทุกครั้ง นภัสสรเจ็บใจมาก แต่ขณะเดียวกันก็ชื่นชมในตัวน้ำเชี่ยวมากขึ้นทุกวัน เช่นเดียวกับน้ำเชี่ยวที่แอบประทับใจในตัวนภัสสร

ทางศิขรินเริ่มเกิดเกรื่องวุ่นวาย เมื่อเจ้าวงศาขึ้นครองราชย์แทน ด้วยการสนับสนุนของรัฐบาลทหาร และเรียกร้องให้รัฐบาลไทยส่งตัวเจ้าหญิงนภัสสรที่หลบอยู่ในประเทศไทยกลับมาศิขริน ข่าวนี้ดังไปทั่วโลก เลยทำให้น้ำเชี่ยวรู้ความจริงว่านภัสสรคือเจ้าหยิง เขาโกรธมากที่ถูกหลอก แต่ขณะเดียวกันในทางการเมือง ทางการไทยก็จำเป็นต้องส่งตัวเจ้าหยิงกลับ พลจึงขอให้น้ำเชี่ยวช่วยพาเจ้าหญิงหลบหนีไป น้ำเชี่ยวสงสารจึงพาเจ้าหญิงและเพ็ญโสมหลบไปซ่อนตัวที่บ้านเกิดของเขาที่ชายทะเล ท่ามกลางการไล่ล่าของตำรวจไทย

ในที่สุดเจ้าหญิงก็ถูกส่งตัวกลับไปศิขรินจนได้ และถูกนายพลศารทูล ลูกน้องคนสนิทของเจ้าวงศาที่ต้องการจะขึ้นเป็นใหญ่จองจำเอาไว้ เพื่อบีบให้เจ้าวิษณุออกจากที่ซ่อนมาสละราชสมบัติให้เจ้าวงศาขึ้นครองราชย์อย่างถูกต้อง

น้ำเชี่ยวจึงตัดสินใจบุกเข้าไปที่ศิขริน เพื่อช่วยเจ้าหญิงให้พ้นจากอันตราย เขาจะทำสำเร็จหรือไม่? ความรักระหว่างเจ้าหญิงและสามัญชนจะจบลงอย่างไร?
