MBC's historical series "The Moon Embracing the Sun" took center stage once again on the Wednesday and Thursday primetime lineup during the fourth week of January.

On Friday, "Moon," starring Kim Soo-hyun, Han Ga-in and Jung Il-woo, was crowned the most-watched show in the country for the fourth time straight with an average viewership rating of 25.9 percent on TNmS' (Total National Multimedia Statistics) chart.

The series also proved to be no match against its primetime competitors on AGB Nielsen Media's poll, pulling in an average viewership rating of 30.7 percent.

This week's episode focused on how Lee Hwon (Kim) who is suffering from an illness invites Wol (Han) to the Royal Court to drive out the evil spirits.

Meanwhile, SBS' aviation series "Take Care of Us Captain" saw itself in the No. 2 spot with ratings in the eight percentile range and KBS' "Wild Romance" retained ratings in the six percentile range to place in third.
