Singer Lee Seung-gi' plan to star in the new MBC drama "The Discovery of Affection" has been cancelled. The drama has been a talk of the town as it will be written by Hong Sisters writing duo - Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran(My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho, My Girl, You're Beautiful, Couple Fantasy). Its script has been revised in a large scale lately, sources say. That means a change in the lead actor is inevitable as the new script requires the lead actor's age older than him. Actor Cha Seung-won is reportedly a strong candicate to replace Lee Seung-gi.
"The Discovery of Affection" is about a romance between a rising actor and a has-been actress. It premieres after the current drama "Royal Family" finishes.
