Little Lord Fauntleroy

Little Lord Fauntleroy is a 1936 American drama film based on the 1886 novel of the same name by Francis Hodgsen Burnett. An American boy lives with his mother in Brooklyn after his English father dies. The Earl of Dorincourt, Ceddie's grandfather, had disowned Ceddie's father for marrying an American, but when the Earl's remaining son dies, he accepts Ceddie as Lord Fauntleroy, his heir. Ceddie moves in with his cold grandfather and tries to overcome their differences.
