Statuesque Michiko Daimon could be a fashion model, but she is a talented freelance surgeon who is placed at a university hospital after several doctors have quit due to harsh working conditions. The outspoken surgeon is not afraid to create waves in her new workplace in order to protect the patients. Shortly after she arrives, she criticizes the antiquated surgical methods of the hospital director who is scheduled to perform an operation. Although Dr. Daimon has the courage to verbalize what the other doctors are afraid to say, she is punished for speaking up against a superior and relegated to menial jobs at the hospital. But just as she feared, the hospital director’s surgery goes horribly wrong. Can Dr. Daimon continue to fight for excellent medical care and making right medical decisions without regard to hierarchies and connections?
