Pretty Maid

Former maid Qin YueXiang accidentally kills her husband to protect her 9 year old daughter Sang CaiQing from being married to an old man. Before she is hanged, YueXiang sends CaiQing to her biological father, Shen Yuan, to seek refuge but Shen's wife YuRu makes CaiQing a maid at Shen manor. As she grows up CaiQing is drawn into a web of conspiracies involving power, money, and desire. CaiQing vows never to succumb to fate as she strives to be the master of her own destiny one day.
