A secret recipe book for making great kimchee has been passed down from generation to generation in the same family for hundreds of years. The current protector of the recipes, Park Gye Hyang, is the national cultural asset for cooking in Korea. One remote restaurant is famed for serving kimchee that tastes better than Gye Hyang’s. The two families may be linked by the same secret recipes, and others want to get their hands on them for their own personal gain. Whose kimchee will prevail?
