The life of a secret service agent requires a tremendous amount of cloak-and-dagger secrecy and half-truths when interacting with the outside world. Han Gil Ro (Joo Won) has always dreamed of becoming a spy after seeing a James Bond movie as a child. When he gets hired at the National Intelligence Service, he achieves his lifelong dream. He is set up on a blind date with Kim Seo Won (Choi Kang Hee), and he must keep his true identity a secret from the young woman. Unbeknownst to him, she also works at the NIS and is hiding her true identity from him. As their tenuous first meeting grows into something more, they must learn to juggle their personal lives with the demands of their professional roles as a new generation of young secret agents working alongside the tough older generation of agents. How will the new generation of secret agents balance friendships, relationships and office politics? “7th Grade Civil Servant” is a remake of a 2009 film with the same title.
