Gao Ling struggles to pay for her childhood home after her parents die in an accident. Even though a major construction company wants to buy up her property for a big redevelopment project, Ling holds out and is determined to keep her home at all costs. But her challenges get harder when she falls in love with a man with ties to the construction company and becomes pregnant, only to be deserted by him. Can Ling provide a happy home for her daughter and find love once again?
