      I'm not pretty sure if its exactly the same but I have experienced a similar(if not exactly the same) situation as yours. I wasn't able to watch and sub the videos assigned to me because I can't access the videos... It was when I reprogrammed my PC. I coudn't access the vids and is continually asking me to download and install the plug-in. But whenever I clicked the button to download the plug-in, nothing happens... I've tried a lot of alternatives, asked the people that I know and had numerously tried to download the plug-in for 1 month...

      After almost losing hope on Viikii (that was what it was called then...), I accessed my installed softwares folder and found out that I already had an older version of Adobe AIr installed in my programs... I remembered that Adobe Air is a pre-requisite for the Viikii plug-in so I updated it and then tried to download the plug-in for the last time... And then, viola! It worked!hehe After downloading the plug-in, I installed it and then proceed to watching the vids...hehe hope that helps...
