Happy New Year e!
Delete FlagHad a rough but safe ending to 2011. Would rather have been on a bus in Seoul in the chilly weather with bags of veggies from the market!
Never made it to that candlelight service; my best friends dad went into ER on the eve. I did visit my sister on Christmas Day instead, and that night two of my nieces got into a bad car accident on the way home from a family gather. God was so merciful to us! Firefighters that were called said they should have died (flipped the truck they were in after hitting a light pole at an intersection), but they walked away with only bruises. It occurred after midnight so not many were on the road, but the few that drove that way and stopped were medical personnel that just got off their shift ( a doctor and couple of nurses) at hospitals in town. Wow, is God good or what!? The girls were fine and we were so grateful!
The next day (12/26), I was back in the ER with my other sister. We were on a roll...she stayed until the day before new years eve (when my other sister was released!). Everyone was home for the New Year!! Hallelujah!!!
I spent the rest of the year chasing doctors and checking on my friend and her dad. He was moved to hospice last Thursday as family members flew in from the both coasts and Africa. We spent Saturday evening with him (doctors warned he would leave us soon) and sang songs of heaven and worshiped in his room while he rested. Most of the family stayed the night with him. I whispered my goodbyes and told him my aunty would greet at the gate with a smile and a hug; and not to worry about my friend that I would keep her out of trouble and she wouldn't be alone. I kissed him goodbye and left with such a peace...I know exactly where he is and how his suffering is over and joy now validates his faith in the Lord Who brought him home ...and I will see him later! He stole away early the next morning when my friends stepped out to the dining area to get coffee, only his oldest granddaughter was with him. We are are grateful that his passing was peaceful, and have sweet memories of his final days when we spoke of heaven with him and shared the joy of knowing Jesus' love for us.
My school work has suffered a bit and backed up during the holidays, and life goes on and on and on!!! So this is my break from the paper I'm supposed to be finishing. I have little to complain about and so very much to be grateful for...blessings upon blessings to count and say "thank You!" for.
You are counted among those blessings e!!! Have the best year yet!
Hugs to you,
mnia ;o)

The Merriest Christmas to you, e!!!!!!!....hugs and warm wishes for a special celebration with those you love. I'm guessing Seoul is frigid around this time, but that you will warm it up with loved ones! Have some yummy seafood jajamyun and remember of me (I have to learn how to make that....yum!).
I have a drama buddy here and we vowed to reward ourselves with a trip to South Korea once I graduate and we get her business going in a steady upward motion. We have high hopes! We also have a list of things to do when we get there and beautifful places we want to visit. I think spring or autumn would be optimal. The cold rattles me, but I'm still trying not to be envious of you.
My little united nations of a family will be gathering in a variety of locations this weekend. I may just have a quiet celebration with my sister in the hospital (thought we would escape medical drama this holiday, but oh well... it's serious but not critical, and I'm ever so grateful). If I can sneak away for a moment to midnight candlelight services in a nearby church I won't feel so bad about missing the celebration at my church (but i can catch it on line - they stream live, incredible huh, the perks of technology...hallelujah!)
I hope you return with amazing memories from Seoul this Christmas that keep your heart smiling until your next visit!!
Special blessings and warm hugs to you e.

Wow, I suck at checking my messages! I just got your message on how Ja myung go is available now! How awesome.
Delete FlagMy new favorite has to be Princess Man. OH how I love historical dramas! Park Shi Hoo = awesome eye candy!
I've seen Spy Myung Wol on t.v, I should probably catch that after I finish my Prosecuter Princess. I've been obsessively watching anything with Park Shi Hoo in it after PM. Hope you have been well!

I've been good! Hope you have been well yourself! Yup I still love that drama, I only wished they didn't ruin it so bad in the beginning. What have you been subbing lately? Have you watched any good ones. I've recently finished Lie to me and currently watching city hunter. OMG SO GOOD. AHHA
