47. Meteor Garden 2

Draaaaaged. I liked the first episode and the last episode. But in between I skipped a lot. Daoming Si wasn't even Daoming Si. I mean, he was too mature. I missed the bratty, stubborn, spoiled, violent, Pineapple-headed Si. And I hate how the amnesia thing went on upto th 24th episode. And even afterwards he didn't tell anyone he remembered everything because he wasn't sure who he loved -.- Rainie Yang didn't even turn up! I liked Ye Sha. She wasn't like those wannabe girls from the other versions who pretended to be the girlfriend. And her letter to Loony was the only part in this drama that made me cry (besides Quinghe's Valentine message to Shancai). At least they didn't kill her off. That would've made me boycott this drama altogether. By the way, my favorite part was Vanness Wu and his matchmaking date. That girl was so pretty! I'm so glad he fell in love (: Overall, the series was frustrating but worth the wait. Sort of. Maybe. And I never shipped Lei and Shancai in season 1 and throughout season 2. But after hearing his true feelings that he confessed to Mei (along with flashbacks) I felt so sorry for him! To be very honest, I never really enjoyed his character. Probably because he never expressed his feelings directly and Daoming Si was much more interesting and pretty much overshadowed him. But now I can't wait to watch MARS! :)

48. Hi My Sweetheart

Man, Rainie Yang is so hot in this drama! Those streaks are killer. And her character is amazing. It's like the female version of the Devil from Devil beside you x) I bet she took tips from Mike He regarding this role. Haha. Show Luo is the perfection. It's so amazing how he can bring out a sexy man and an Ugly-Mushroom-Head-Shame-Of-Society man out of a single character, to such a point that it's almost like he has multiple personality disorder or something.

So basically Bao Chu and Da Lung are two misfits who fall in love. After 3 years of being together, due to some misunderstandings, Da Lung thinks that Bao Chu abandoned him because he's not rich (which he is BTW. His sisters run a supersuccessful toilet business). He vows to take revenge but ends up in love with her all over again, especially since all the misunderstandings get clarified. This show is HILARIOUS xD I haven't had such a good laugh watching a drama for a long time. I still remember the 'Bubble' incident and laugh like hell xD

Ok, honestly, this was the most boring Rainie Yang drama I've watched so far. But on the bright side the lead actors (Mars and George Wu) were really hot. And even the adorable manager from extravagant Challenge was there! And then there was prince Kasaba (hottie alert). All in all, a great one-time watch ^^

50. Rooftop Prince

This was one drama where I couldn't predict the ending at all. Except for the basics of course. Like Tae Mu would go to jail for attempted murder (several failed attempts actually xD). And Se Na would reflect on her mistakes like a typical K-drama bitch and do something as generous as giving up a piece of her liver to Bak Ha to save her life so that we stop hating her -.- But other than that I had no clue how they'd end it.

Yeah, so basically Chona's wife dies and he randomly gets transported to the modern times where he finds the princess reincarnated. Eventually he realizes what a bitch the princess is (in modern times as well as in Joseon Era). Then he falls for Bak Ha who, he later realizes, is the reincarnation of the princess' sister. And, being the genius that he is, he eventually solves the 300 years old mystery of his dead wife.

And how can I forget to mention the Joseon Rangers?! They're like the life of this drama! All of them are so hilarious and adorable. Especially the blue ranger xD When they first came to the modern world it was so funny. They were amazed by the slightest things, burned down the entire roof house, threatened to behead Bak Ha, demanded omurice all the time and gulped down the water after brushing their teeth xD xD And THE ELEVATOR SCENE WAS EPIIIC XD XD XD ===>

About the ending - I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I wish Bak Ha had ended up with Chona. I know, I know - Chona and Tae Yong are practically the same person. But still, the memories are different and the personalities are different. I just can't get myself to see them as the same person. And Chona didn't even even get Bu Yong in the end! :( But that doesn't make Rooftop prince any less awesome! I love it.

51. The King 2 Hearts

Although it was definitely not typical, the King 2 Hearts had the charm and wit that Hong sisters generally bring out in their dramas. And Jae Ha and Hang Ah make the coolest couple ever! I swear I have a girl crush on Hang Ah. Loved her accent and how she could be innocent and kickass at the same time. Another thing I loved about this drama was acting. Everyone acted really, really well. EVERYONE. Even the random foreign people (and there were a lot of random foreign people in this drama)! Especially Bon Bon. As creepy as she was, the woman could sure act. How often do you see good foreign actors in K-dramas? :P And the princess was so prettyyy! I loved her hair and such a good actress. She and Eun Shi Kyung were so cute together. Eun Shi Kyung T-T

Basically it was about Lee Seung Gee becoming a king after his brother's death (who was murdered by this creep called John Meyer who reminded me so much of the villain from Iron Man 2. That is, if the villain from Iron man 2 was rich). And his engagement to Hang Ah (a north Korean) as an initiative to bring peace. They both fall in love but the keep going on-off because of the north-south dispute.
The drama was intense. Pretty refreshing actually.

52. Love Rain

Ok, so honestly the first 4 episodes were kinda too slow for me. But I still liked the 70s. I mean, the only thing they did the whole time was hold hands. But still cute :) JGS looked like a kimchi shop owner with that helmet cut. lol. Although I have to say I was really disappointed with the way things ended for them. The older couple, I mean. I wish they'd had a devil-beside-you-ish ending. Or couldn't they just live together or something? 'Yoon Hee -sshi and I can't be lovers anymore' ? Pfft. I mean, you guys have been in love for 30 years and you didn't even kiss! But, just for self-satisfaction, I'm going to asume that In Ha followed Yoon Hee to USA and now they're practically living together and secretly having an affair. Hmph.

Coming to the modern times couple - Joon and Hana are so cute together! ^^ And I just love dramas in which the guy falls for the girl first. Partially because I'm a girl (hehe) and partially because guys
are the best at acting jealous x) Especially when the guy is JGS. I swear JGS can make the cheesiest scenes look amazing and epic. And I love Yoona! (although I still don't understand the 'face of SNSD' thing..I mean, she's not even the leader and I'm pretty sure all the members have faces :P) she's so prettyyy! And JGS is so hot! He's like the playboy version of Hwan Tae Kyung. lol.

Frankly, I don't get the whole 'Love means to never have to say sorry' thing. I mean, if you love someone, you keep your pride aside and you apologize sincerely. Ok, maybe the logic behind the famous line is, when you're in love being with the other person is like being with yourself. You know, the whole 'Two bodies one soul' thing. And you don't go around apologizing to yourself. Because that's just....well, stupid. But still, this is pretty impractical in the real world if you ask me. Anyways, this is another time-worthy drama :)

53. Autumn Tale

This one was pretty old school. Dramas like Scent Of A Woman and Protect the Boss have spoiled me. I can't tolerate those K-drama girls anymore who don't standup for themselves and need a guy rescuing them all the time. Eun Suh's character was cliche in every possible sense. And I swear I could guess one of them was gonna die in the end - it was so predictable! IDK, the drama had that sort of atmosphere :P But, nevertheless, there was some really, really good and powerful acting in here.

At first I was creeped out by their sibling love. Ok, not EXACTLY creeped out since the two kids were so adorable. Mostly scared of the social reaction if they ever decided to get together. I mean, it's not even a Clary-And-Jace situation where they didn't KNOW they were siblings. THANKKFULLY, they weren't. Weren't siblings I mean (talking about Eun Suh and Jun Suh; not Jace and Clary). My favorite was Moon Geun Young. She was so adorable!
\
And I can't even begin to describe how much my heart bled for Won Bin. And I'm not the type to feel sorry for the second lead. It has only happened twice - once for Shin Woo in You're Beautiful and once in Dream High (still don't get why she ended up with Sam Dong). But this time it was so much worse.

54. It Started With A Kiss

Usually when it comes to various versions of a drama, I never play favorites. I've always believed that each version brings out it's own culture and ideals and creativity. But I have to say that ISWAK is much better than Playful Kiss, especially in terms of acting. Zhi Shu is more expressive and treats her better. Like, you can totally tell he's fallen for her but won't admit it. Baek Seung Joo was a bit...blank? (although more handome). Most of the time it felt like he only tolerated her because she threw herself on him. Zhi Shu, on the other hand, was cold but there were still moments where you could tell he was struggling with his feelings for her.

Yeah, so I'm guessing you already know the story. She stalk s him for 5 years. He gets engaged to someone else after 5 years. So she decides to date her own stalker, only to realize that she only likes him. He , on the other hand, realizes how much she means to him when she doesn't stalk him for a day or two. And then, finally, he opens his heart and then we get to see the most awesome wedding wih PRETTIEST groom and the HANDSOMEST bride. haha. Love them! It would be so much fun to be friends with Xiang Qin. She's so funny! Although I would be pretty jealous because she has Zhi Shu X)

I always pictured her too kickass for such roles)]

Wow, can't believe this is just the second drama of Ko Hye Sung that I watched. I guess that's what happens when you watch Boys Over Flowers thrice. 56. Queen In Hyun's Man

Although Time Travel has been a hot-topic for K-dramas this year, all these dramas stand out in their own way and Queen In Hyun's man is definitely as amazing as Rooftop Prince and Dr Jin. Great story and great concept and the acting was somehow very refreshing. The most refreshing part of it was that the lead guy was just so sweet and nice and respectful. He didn't act like a bitch even for a second. This drama solely proves that the lead guy doesn't neccessarily have to be a jealous jerk to be adorable. Lol. Other K-drama guys could definitely learn a thing or two from him (*goes into the screen and nudges out Jun Pyo and Kim Joo Won*). And ever since I watched Yoo In Na in Secret Garden I've always felt she's too adorable to play a side-role in every drama she does. This was a perfect role for her!

So basically Kim Boong Do uses a talisman to escape his death. But the talisman not only lets him do that, it also transports him to the modern time. And there he falls for Hee Jin (who is already in love with him and keeps deceiving him to steal his kisses xD Ironically she accuses him of being a player! haha). And I found out that they're dating in real life. That is so awesome! It's like one of those times when you're like, "Man they look so good together. They should date in real life!" and someone's like, "Guess what? THEY ARE!" and you're like, "Really? They are??" And someone's Like--- Ok, you get the picture. Anyways, loved it!

58. Shut Up! Flower Boy Band

This is absolutely, without a doubt, my favorite drama of 2012. Amazing story. Amazing music. Amazing acting. Amazing ending. And all of them are SO PRETTY! AAAAAA! DO Il <3 As soon as I saw him in the poster I was in love. lol. And all of them are so cool besides being so hot.

Basically, there are these hot guys in this band called Eye candy and they'd die for each other. And Byung Hee is their crazy and awesome leader who kinda binds them together. But then he gets into an accident and dies on the spot, shattering all of them, especially Ji Hyuk, who was the closest to him. Ji Hyuk becomes their new leader and they embark on a journey with an aim to make their friend's music known through a rock band festival. But there's this one problem - they need to stay enrolled at school, which is a pretty tough task considering their troublemaker status and the fact that their teacher is after their lives to get them expelled! Will they succeed?

Of course there's this whole thing with Su Ah being Byung Hee's muse and Ji Hyuk's girlfriend. THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER. I love Su AH's smile. And I love how fidgety and adorably awkward Ji Hyuk becomes around Su Ah (x AAAA, Their cuteness makes me wanna fly to Korea, get a korean boyfriend, rent two rooftop houses and live across each other XD

59. Big

Ok so the edning was disappointing. A LOT. I wanted her to end up with Kyung Joon-ah in his real body. What were they thinking? I mean, did they write such a horrible ending just so that the lead girl could end up with Gong Yoo? Cause he's the star of the show? Because then that's just stupid. The ending sent a wrong message. It was like saying that it was wrong for her to end up with a 20 year old so we'll just let him be in the ajjusshi's body. And it was extremely unfair to Yoon Jae shhi's character - the real one. Did he even come back? And if he did, did he get stuck in Kyung Joon's body? Frustrating.

But I can't say I hated it. Overall it was pretty good and hilarious XD Especially Choong Shik. He soooooo cute!~ ^^ That face and that deep, manly voice is just intoxicating! I can't believe there were no girls chasing after him. If he was at my school, girls wouldn't leave him alone! And if I was in Ma Ri's place, I would've chosen to stalk Choong Shik over Kyung Joon as soon as I would've set my eyes on him :P

61. Fated to Love You

I tried to watch it thrice last year but gave up each time due to bad picture quality. Finally found a decent print on youtube and I swear I was glued! :) Everything about this drama was perfect - A beautiful story of love and fate. And the fact that it was hilarious - icing to the cake. Hehe. Xin Yi kept getting more and more pretty with each episode. I really liked her character and the transformations she went through throughout the drama. Cun Xi was pretty annoying in the beginning. I mean, obviously his heart was at the right place more or less. But when he asked her to leave after giving birth I wanted to slap him! I mean, how can a mother (especially someone as gentle as Xin Yi) give up her baby without dying a little each second? I liked his character more after ep 12. As for Dylan, I really really really liked him in the beginning. But after they left for Shanghai (ep 12?) - Bleh. He just got annoying. EPISODE 12 T-T It was so sad! I dare you to watch it without crying! Seriously! EPISODE 12. The reason I still can't get myself to like Anna. I'm sorry.Generally I do believe in giving second chances to evil characters ( I DO I DO XD). But what she did pissed me too much. So even if the whole world is ready to accept her reasons for what she did (including Cun Xi and Xin Yi)- I CANNOT.

So, basically, Xin Yi and Cun Xi end up sleeping together because she thinks he's her cheating boyfriend and he thinks she's Anna. Now I know it sounds kinda ridiculous but he's so horny (long story) and she's so dizzy and it's dark. So yeah...after they're done he's like "Gu Chi?" and she's like, "Who's Anna?" and then lights on and TA-DA! BAHAHAHAHA XD XD

On top of everything she becomes pregnant with his child while he's still in love with Anna who (in short) is a selfish Beeaach. They decide to keep the baby and not get it aborted while the supercool grandma somehow manages to get them married. And then Cun Xi drops the bomband tells her to leave after giving birth and that Anna could be the mom to the child -.- But they keep getting closer and closer and now Cun Xi becomes conflicted about his feelings. Then comes ep 12. Honestly, I never expected the story to turn out this way. It really surpassed my expectations. Really nice story.

Even though it's gross, this drama is extremely informative. Surprisingly my favorite here is Park Min Young. I think this is her best performance so far. I mean, I liked her in City Hunter too but mostly I was all, "LOOK IT'S LEE MIN HO! IT'S LEE MIN HO!! *__*" So yeah. I simply loved her character here. In the beginning I found Jaejoong's role pretty stiff but I loved the direction in which his character developed. As for Dr Jin, Of course he's awesome! Loved all side characters - the psychic gisaeng, that guy who's in every freaking drama, and the future king and the future king's dad. Of course the Rat Face was there from Moon Embracing The Sun. And OMG that part where those girls were dying after watching that musical was so creepy. The Phantom Opera music creeped the shit out of me. 66. A Thousand Days Promise

Ever since I wastched A Moment To Remember, it has remained one of my favorite movies of all time. A similar, heartwarming plot-line was enough to draw me to this drama, which is about Ji Hyuk who finds out that his girlfriend's (freshly ex; they were having an affair; long story) has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He calls off his wedding with his long-time Fiancee and goes back to Seo Yeon (the girlfriend). Although she rejects him for a while, not wanting to ruin his life, she eventually gives in. They get married and even have a kid. He loves her, nurses her, supports her and remembers for her. A beautiful and sad portrayal of "In sickness and in health".

Some people might hate them for what they did to the fiancee (Se Na from Rooftop Prince! Whoa. I never knew she could play someone so....nice). I mean one day she was getting married to the man of her dreams and the next day he was getting married to his girlfriend he had had for a year behind her back! But still. In the end she understood, and they apologized. It was all for the better.

67. They Kiss Again

The second season deals with the married life Zhi Shu and XQ. God knows how much missed her! XQ is one of the most unique and the moost awesome characters ever! And Zhi Shu finally realizes all that in TKA - how lucky he is to have her. I loved seeing a jealous side of Zhi Shu. I mean, ok, he was jealous in season 1 too, but only for, like, 5 minutes when Ah Jin proposed to XQ. Aaaah Ah Jin. Love him and Christine! She's so adorable and love-struck! Yu Shu and Hao Mei were pretty cute too. And Ah Nou (the kid who shared the ward with Yu Shu in season 1). Awww. He grew up (and grew up hot!).

Zhi Shu is so amazing in this season. You can practically see how his love for XQ keeps growing deeper and deeper throughout this season. He finally learns to appreciate her and show his affections for her without feeling awkward or embarrassed. XQ made a better man out of him for sure.

70. Sungkyunkwan Scandal

Finally Finally I've learnt how to spell 'Sungkyunkwan'! I always thought it was 'Sukhyawan' or 'sungwan'. This drama is amazing. I think this is definitely the best Joseon Era drama I've watched so far. All the guys are so handsome and seriously now, Park Min Young has officially become my second favorite Korean drama actress after Yoon Eun Hye. Now I feel like I should go watch City Hunter again because I'll enjoy Nana's character more. lol. Great chemistry between Yoochun and PMY.

Basically, Yoon Hee disguises herself as her brother to earn a living by copying stuff at a bookshop, barely making ends meet. Her fathe is dead and brother is sick, so she is the sole source of family income in a time where where it is illegal for women to study or work (except for Gisaengs of course). Due to some events, she ends up passing the exam for Sungkyunkwan and the King himself commands her to 'further' her studies in Sunhgkyunkwan after reading her impressive exam essay. Hence her journey begins; she must deal with hottie roommates, a Gisaeng infactuated with her and a jealous Student President infactuated with the Gisaeng. All that and she must keep her gender a secret. Because, you know, women aren't exactly welcomed in Sungkyunkwan. If she's caught, she would definitely get a 'Punishment by death' sentence...

You could call it the Joseon version of Hana Kimi. Except this time Nakatsu got the girl :D Gotta love Seon Joon and his never-ending list of principles. And he thought he was gay the whole time. 73. The Princess' Man

Oh My Gosh. The "Romeo and Juliet" reference is so wrong for this drama! I mean, ok, I get that there's a lot of family rivalry just like in the famous play. But the drama has a beautiful, heart-warming happy happy happy ending. And the only reason I'd been putting off watching this drama is because I thought it's going to be really tragic and everything. Because I did a little research and through history I knew that Sejo is someone who killed a lot of people while on his way to the throne and then lived a long healthy life (he died in his 70s during that time even though there were such poor medical facilities!) and that there was no such thing as the "Princess' Man" who killed for revenge. So I thought the lead couple would die. But things turned out so cute! ^^ Overall, there was not a single moment of boredom. The plot was really interesting. I felt so sorry for the princess though. The precious one. I mean, she lost her faher, brother, husband and led such a harsh life in a political turmoil. Yet, she gave her best. Her affection and protectiveness for her brother was really touching. Can't believe that there was a point (in the veeeeeeery beginning) when I thought she was bitchy! She was awesome!

74. Reply 1997

This drama is such a TEASE I swear! The whole time while watching you will be yelling at your screen, banging in frustration saying "TELL US WHO IS IT ALREADY!!!!" XD XD But regardless, you'll fall in love with the characters. I know I did. Reply 1997 was cute, funny and refreshing. I loved Shi Won. She was really awesome being such a hardcore fan XD But even more I loved the kind of relationship she shared with Yoon Jae. I wish I had someone who I could give those coupons for birthday and whose ass I can kick all the time with all rights in the world XD Yoon Jae was hot! Although Can't believe he took so long to confess even though they kissed right in ep 2! Loved 'porn addict' Huk Chan and his 'Let's Break Up' Girlfriend x) They were so sweet the whole time! Loved the parents too and all other random people who made me laugh like hell. Can't believe the dad cut her hair! XD "Ajjusshi Duguseyyo?" XD And Joon Hee! God knows how much I adore his character. And I love of their accents sooo much. It reminds me of Oh Ha Ni's stalker from Playful Kiss and Sam Dong from Dream High! :D

As for Yoon Tae Woon (older brother), I always thought that his reasons for liking her were wrong all along. I mean, just because she reminded him of his dead girlfriend (and of course she would! They were sisters for crying out loud) does not mean he has to go out with her. She's not a substitute.

EPIC MOMENT - When Shi Won's beats the shit out of Yoon Jae and Shi Won throughout their way back home because he found a pack of cigarettes in Shi Won's coat pocket! XD THAT WAS SOOOO FUNNY! XD XD And the mom just kept driving like, "Yeah that's my husband being himself" XD

75. My Girl

Lee Jun Ki!! He is so hot in this drama. But so heartbroken :( Even the shaman from Arang and the magistrate is in this. The main girl - I found her really annoying in the beginning. She was funny though. Loved the tennis player's chunky jewellery even though she was so selfish and evil. hehe.

76. Love Keeps Going

This drama is full of drama cliches. Yet, I can't help myself from liking. Maybe because it has a powerful cast. Cyndi Wang and Mike He have great chemistry. AND XUAN XUAN IS SO ANNOYING OH MY GOOOSH. She pulls those big big eyes on everyone and lies through her bare teeth. I'm sorry but she annoyed me wayyy too much. I really enjoyed the sub-plot between Cyndi's brother and Mike's sister. That was cute. And my all time favorite actor was in here too - Bin Xaio Xaio! Awww.

77. Oh! My Lady

I almost gave up on this drama after episode 1 because, honestly, everything from acting to dialogues to the story bored me to death. But thank the Lords I continued to watch. This drama had so much more to offer than I had ever expected. The plot finally began to shape up after 2-3 eps. Siwon's acting improved drastically and I actually laughed at a few parts. Especially that one part where the Ajjumma started singing to make Siwon laugh (if someone knows the song please tell me! haha). Overall, I got a really warm, fuzzy feeling out of this drama. And not because of the romance but because of these cute, little family reunions which really get me every time. Will definitely watch it again. For Ye Eun :)
