TROUBLE SHOOTING

MOZILLA FIREFOX 9.0.1
FLASHPLAYER AND ADOBE AIR ARE UPDATED
The next trial I will take around the time the wuauclt.exe will start and one half an hour before to see, if there is a difference. Can't promise if it's today^^ 23rd jan 2012

I start to believe more and more that it is a problem with the FREE VERSION of AVIRA12, since I got that version, this problem accured. But I can't tell it for sure.
There is the wuauclt.exe and ipmgui.exe that pops up every hour to look for updates of AVIRA and I found a thread of it in the Avira forum, that this thing can't be stopped for the free version, only for the once that are bought.

I am sorry it's in German, I didn't find one in English.
Maybe I should change for another antivir.
Perhaps you can verify, if other users use the same antivir?

starting the video
with the small screen without subtitle edtior till first minute is completed - seems fine
now starting the video using the subtitle editor
okay have to restart in 30 sec for the subtitles
my "beloved" advertisment - sound was awefully stretched
Video is running on another tab, while I am writing here, Task-Manager shows that plugin-container.exe is growing up to 50 - down to 30 and up to 66 (CPU occupation), the rest at firefox - "empty spaces" (sorry don't know the english word for it) and taskmanager.exe
about 6 minute something sound starts to get choppy, I couldn't go on writing, Changed to tab with video. Video stuck at minute 7.~ sound is normal and moving on. In order to do anything even writing this, have to crush down the plugin-container.exe now at 63.~~~k.
Okay back to the starting point.

now I will restart the video as soon as it has 30 seconds to "see" subtitles
- well have the subtitles all the ways - cookies at work? LOL anyway,
The video a few weeks ago was more choppy but now it still kind of jumps like an old silent movie, when you get another picture at 5,10 or 20 seconds, well the subs go along, the only good thing is the sound by now, it's running smooth.
Pauseed video at 0.28 waited for it to stop but it took it's time let the video run again and paused immediatly after to find out the time it took to stop, it's almost at 0.37, so it needed about 9 seconds to stop.
You can imagine that it is futile with that speed to sub, using short-keys or editing is a torture due to timely delay.
Got a skript warning - oh, yeah today you sure are lucky to get all the possible happenings while trying the subtitle editor.
It's in German - well the main line is equal in any language I guess.
I stopped it.
Closed and re-opened FF again.
Again starting point ...
Video runs smoothly till 0.29.33 than picture freezes sound gets choppy but gets better and sounds normal after a few seconds. Picture comes back at 0.38.20, then jumps to 0.41.~~, then 0.47.~~(screenshot) and 1.23.~~, wanted to pause the video either a long delay, well I took the hand break crushed the plugin container again.
I took a screen shot again, when I thought the video would freeze for good, I did not expect that it would start running again. In earlier trials that was the exit point, when it froze it was game over.
And I found someone else with the "same" problem, well it sounded much alike, I told her to contact you over ViKiDev, I hope it will be forwarded to you, since if you got more cases it might be easier to find the root of the problem. I think it was fine till last summer than it was good for a few days and started again, worse than before. Btw I don't dare to even use the subtitle editor, alone getting the video stable would be nice by now.
So hopefully you can help solving the mystery or I will have a lot of free time this year.

tried to add a comment, see what happened
than copy the comment, to paste in after refreshing the page
works just fine than, next problem posting another comment, while writing the fonts are smaller than usual
Copy the text before posting the comment, there should be only one empty line between those written lines
I have typed excactly the same lines in the comments of the post and it doesn't have double spacing more like multiple spacing in between.
