There are two types of Segmenters: 1) One who understands the language of the video 2) One who does not under the language of the video.
I probably belong to the first one in most of the channels. So I segment according to when there are different people talking and when there are pauses/hesitations within a conversation.

A Viki rule you should know:

• An inactive account for 6 months will get suspended. You will have to reapply for member. If you are a QC you will temporarily lose your QC status if you do not continue to contribute.
