Your work can become your life in unexpected ways. Prosecutor Lee Tae Sung (Kim Kang Woo) spends a great deal of his time trying to bust a major crime family in Haeundae, the eastern section of Pusan, South Korea. He goes undercover as a gangster to try to infiltrate the family, get the evidence he needs and bring the criminals to justice. But the prosecutor gets into an accident as he is working undercover and loses his memory. In his amnesic state, he mistakenly believes that he is really the gangster he was portraying. He then falls in love with Ko So Ra (Jo Yeo Jeong), the mob boss’s daughter, even though he is already betrothed to Yoon Se Ra (Nam Gyoo Ri) in his real life. Will the prosecutor be able to recover his memory and return to his law-abiding life? “Haeundae Lovers,” also known as “Lovers of Haeundae,” is a 2012 South Korean drama series directed by Song Hyeon Wook.
