Jay Park is a multitalented Korean-American R&B and hip-hop singer, dancer, choreographer, music producer, songwriter and model. Born in Edmonds, Wash., in the United States on April 25, 1987, Jay has been dubbed “The Fresh Prince of Seoul” after debuting in 2008 as part of the South Korean boy band 2PM. But Jay left the group in 2010 after some things he wrote about Korea as a youth were released on the Internet and misinterpreted by the media. He is now a member of the Seattle-based b-boy crew, Art of Movement (AOM). After Jay’s cover of B.o.B’s song “Nothin’ on You” gained tremendous attention after receiving more than 2 million views on YouTube, Jay returned to Korea in late 2010 and launched a successful solo career. Watch the music videos of his popular songs “Girlfriend,” “New Breed” and “Take a Deeper Look.”
