Asami Mizukawa is a Japanese actress who was born on July 24, 1983, in Kyoto, Japan. She was raised in Ibaraki, Osaka Prefecture, and made her acting debut in 1997 at the tender age of 13, starring in TV commercials and the movie “Tokimeki Memorial.” She has since gone on to appear in scores of hit TV and drama series titles, from the likes of “PA Private Actress” (1998) when she was still in her early teens, to the movie “Close Range Love” (2014), the Japanese TV drama series adaptation of the hit novel “Never Let Me Go) (2016), and the more recent movie “Underdog” (2020).
