Hyomin is the stage name of Park Sun Young, a South Korean singer and actress who is best known for being the lead vocalist and lead dancer for the K-pop girl group T-ara. Born on May 30, 1989, Hyomin won a modeling contest at the age of 8 and did some modeling before her debut with T-ara in 2009. In addition to her music career, Hyomin branched out into acting with the 2009 musical production of “I Really Really Like You” and also has appeared in “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho” (2010) and “Gye Baek” (2011), for which she won Best New Actress at the 2011 MBC Drama Awards. Hyomin is a popular guest on variety shows, serving as a fixed cast member of “Invincible Youth” from 2009 to 2010. Hyomin also launched her own clothing collection for G-Market in 2012.
