Kim Hyang Gi is an award-winning South Korean actress. Born on August 9, 2000, she began her career as a child actress in the 2006 film “Heart Is…” She has since starred in many popular films, including “A Werewolf Boy” (2012), which became the biggest hit melodrama in Korean cinematic history, “Thread of Lies” (2014) and “Proof of Innocence” (2016). For her 2010 film “Wedding Dress,” Kim Hyang Gi also sang the soundtrack “So Ra’s Song.” Kim Hyang Gi also has starred in many popular television dramas, including “Bad Love” (2007), “Night After Night” (2008), “Hero” (2009) and “The Queen’s Classroom” (2013).

Once a royal physician, Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae) was ousted from the palace after his involvement in a conspiracy surrounding the royal family. With nowhere else to go, Se Poong eventually found himself in the strange yet beautiful village of Gyesu. It was there he met Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi) and Gye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) and his life was changed forever.

With the help of his new friends, Se Poong began to grow as both a physician and a human. During the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), Yoo Se Poong (Kim Min Jae) is a talented young physician who practices at the royal palace. But when he is implicated in a conspiracy that threatens the lives of the members of the royal family, he is driven from court. He eventually finds himself in a remote village community – a huge fall from grace for a man who had once occupied such a prestigious role.

When he intervenes to help heal a local, he finds his stay in the village becomes prolonged – more so than he would have liked. The year is 1592 and Korea is facing a sea invasion at the hands of the fearsome Japanese navy, who have already made landfall on the Korean peninsula and driven the defending army out of its capital. Kim Ja Hong (Cha Tae Hyun) is a fearless firefighter who dies at the scene of an emergency. What recourse do you have against school bullies?

Ho Goo Hee (Kim Hyang Gi) is a 17-year-old school student at Hanjong High School.
