Park Shin Hye is one of the most popular South Korean actresses working today. Born on February 18, 1990, she was discovered after she appeared in singer Lee Seung Hwan’s music video for “Flower,” after which she received formal training in singing, dancing and acting. She made her acting debut in the 2003 television drama “Stairway to Heaven” and instantly gained fame from portraying the younger version of the Han Jung Suh character. Yong Gu (Ryu Seung Ryong) is the father of a six-year-old daughter (Kal So Won) – but he also has a neurological condition that means his own mental age is also six years. Can a female Peeping Tom get more than she bargained for? Ko Do Mi (Park Shin Hye) is a single woman living alone in the Ocean Village officetel complex. When she realizes that he lives across the courtyard and she has a direct view into his apartment, she starts spying on him and voyeuristically capturing his daily routine. “Flower Boy Next Door,” also known as “My Cute Guys,” “My Flower Boy Neighbor,” and “The Pretty Boy Next Door,” is a 2013 South Korean drama series directed by Jung Jung Hwa. Based on the webtoon “I Steal Peeks at Him Every Day” by Yoo Hyun Sook, the series is the third installment in tvN’s “Oh! Lee Gyu Won (Park Shin Hye) is a traditional gayageum (Korean zither-like instrument with 12 strings) player and a progeny of Korean traditional music. Their worlds collide at a performing arts college, where he is majoring in Western Music and she in Korean Traditional Music. Shin, a moody and aloof city boy, is initially smitten with dance professor Jung Yoon Soo (So Yi Hyun), but that quickly changes when he meets the feisty Gyu Won, who is considered Korean folk music royalty. Both Shin and Gyu Won care a lot about their respective musical styles, at the expense of everything else in their lives. Can their two divergent passions be reconciled? The two lead actors previously starred together in the 2009 drama “You’re Beautiful.”
