Uhm Jung Hwa is an award-winning South Korean singer, fashion designer, and actress. She was born in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea, on August 17, 1969 and made her debut in the entertainment world in 1987, as a chorus member for the broadcasting company, MBC. In 1992, she made her acting debut, taking her first film role. The following year, she debuted as a singer, releasing her first studio album. Recognized as one of the most influential women in Korean entertainment, she has earned the nickname “Evergreen” and has been recognized as an idol by many young stars. Since her debut, she has appeared in a number of films and television dramas, including “The Man Who Can’t Get Married” (2009), “Dancing Queen” (2012), “A Witch’s Romance” (2014), and “Okay Madam” (2020).
