Jun Soo Kyung is a South Korean actress and musical performer born on July 12, 1966, in Seoul, South Korea. She majored in Theater and Film at Seoul’s Hanyang University, and then went on to make her movie debut in the 1989 film “Mouse Landing Operation.” Two years later, she made her musical debut in a 1991 performance of “The Sound of Music.” In 1992, she performed the musical pieces sung by Belle in the South Korean release of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” She won in the Best Actress category of the Korea Musical Awards for her role in “Kiss Me, Kate.” She went on to make her drama debut in “Chosun Police 2” (2008). She has since appeared in a wide range of movie titles, including “Finding Mr. Destiny” (2010) and “My Black Mini Dress” (2010). More recently, she has appeared in the dramas “Welcome to Waikiki 2” (2019) and “Melting Me Softly” (2019).
