Han Ye Seul is a popular Korean-American actress, model and singer. She was born on September 18, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, and also goes by the name Leslie Kim. She moved to South Korea to pursue acting and modeling after she attained her associate of arts degree in computer graphics from Cerritos College. She renounced her U.S. citizenship in 2004 and became a South Korean citizen to establish herself as an actress in Korea. Han Ye Seul won a supermodel competition in Korea in 2001 and debuted as a model. After appearing in many commercials, she broke into acting with a small role in the 2003 television drama “Breathless.” She has since appeared in several popular dramas, including “Couple or Trouble” (2006), “Will It Snow for Christmas?” (2009), “Spy Myung-wol” (2011), “Birth of a Beauty” (2014), “Madame Antoine” (2016) and “20th Century Boy and Girl” (2017).
