Moon Sung Geun is a South Korean actor and politician who was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1953. He studied trading at Sogang University and initially began working in the world of business, before turning his hand to acting in the mid-1980s, appearing in a number of stage plays. He made his movie debut in 1990, starring in “Black Republic,” and went on to appear in a number of hit movies and drama titles. After a stint in politics in the late 2000s, he returned to acting, and recently appeared in drama titles such as “Confession” (2019) and “Nobody Knows” (2020).
