Yoon Jong Shin is a South Korean singer, songwriter and host. Born on October 15, 1969, he started his career as a guest singer for the band 015B in 1990 and then launched his solo singing career a year later. After a prolific career as a musician, he branched out into acting and entertainment starting in 2000 and became a popular staple on many reality shows. He became a regular cast member of “Radio Star” in 2007 and “Family Outing” in 2008 and also served as a judge on the talent show “Superstar K” for many seasons. Other popular programs he has hosted include “GO Show,” “Hwasin - Controller of the Heart,” “Barefoot Friends” and “Secretly Greatly.” Yoon Jong Shin is co-founder and owner of the talent agency Mystic89. He married former professional tennis player Jeon Mi Ra in 2006, and they have three kids.

Sure, you’ve heard of K-pop groups with great main vocalists. But have you ever heard of an all-female group where EVERY member is a “main vocalist?” In a bid to put together a first-of-its-kind group, Jang Do Yeon hosts as contestants from a wide range of backgrounds aim to impress. Judges and mentors Jung Eun Ji, Young K, Sunwoo Jung Ah, Yoon Jong Shin, Gaeko, and KINKY are on hand with pointers. With the likes of Crush’s sister, the former main vocalist of the K-pop act April, a rising musical star, the singer of the global drama hit “Squid Game” theme song, and the leader of the former child pop group 7Princess all taking part, who will make the final cut? This 2024 South Korean variety TV show was produced by Kim Hak Young.

Cupid returns for a fresh assault on the hearts of a new group of romance-ready singletons. The group has never met before, but must live together in Signal House. The house rules encourage flirty behavior, but forbid housemates from directly telling anyone that they like them. Instead, they must express their feelings via text message. But there’s a twist: All texts to housemates are anonymous – meaning recipients have to guess who is trying to make a love connection with them.

Watching events unfurl in the house is a celebrity panel of love experts. These include returning romance fans Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Ea Na, and Lee Sang Min, all veterans of previous “Heart Signal” seasons. And joining this trio this time around is a fresh crop of star pundits, including Oh! My Girl member Mimi, Kang Seung Yoon of WINNER, and leading psychiatrist Kim Chong Gi.

This variety TV show series is the follow-up to 2017’s “Heart Signal.” A second series was released in 2018. And this was followed up with Season 3 in 2020.

“Heart Signal 4” is a 2023 South Korean reality TV/variety show that was produced by Park Cheol Hwan.

Eight young, single people who have never met are thrown together at Signal House, a place where they must choose a housemate to pair up with.

There is one key house rule, though: nobody can overtly confess that they like another housemate.

Instead, they are only allowed to send discrete “heart signals” to one another – in the form of anonymous messages and non-verbal communication.

The housemates soon find that romance is alive and well in Signal House, with love triangles rapidly developing – and often falling apart soon after!
