Im Won Hee is a veteran South Korean actor who is known for being a member of the legendary Daehak-ro theater troupe and appearing in many of the acclaimed Jang Jin’s stage productions and films. Born on October 11, 1970, he made his film debut in Jang Jin’s 1998 black comedy “The Happenings” and has since had a prolific career in theater, films and television dramas, including “You’re All Surrounded” (2014) and “Romantic Doctor Kim” (2016). Im Won Hee also has appeared on many popular variety shows, including “Law of the Jungle in Micronesia” (2013-2014), “Law of the Jungle in Borneo” (2014), “I Am a Man” (2014), “Real Men Season 2” (2015) and “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator” (2015). More recently, he has appeared in the drama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” (2017), as well as the movie “Snatch Up” (2018). He also starred in the series “Wok of Love” in 2018, for which he won the Best Supporting Actor prize at the same year’s SBS Drama Awards. In 2019, he will appear in the drama “Melting Me Softly” and the movie “Astronomy.”
