G.NA is the stage name of Gina Jane Choi, a Canadian singer and actress who is based in South Korea. Born on September 13, 1987, in Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada, G.NA was originally scheduled to debut as the leader of a K-pop girl group called Five Girls in 2007 under Good Entertainment, but the group disbanded before the debut due to the company’s financial troubles. G.NA released a duet with Rain called “Things I Want to Do When I Have a Lover” and also released her debut mini-album in 2010, In 2011, her song “Black & White” became a hit and she also was featured on HyunA’s “Bubble Pop!” album. G.NA also collaborated with Taiwanese star Aaron Yan for his song “Half (1/2),” which was featured on the soundtrack for his drama “Fall in Love With Me.” In 2015, G.NA debuted as part of the idol sub-unit ChamSonyeo, a group formed by the TV reality show “Hitmaker” by producers Defconn and Hyundon.
