Cha Hwa Yun is a South Korean actress born on December 27, 1960. A veteran of both stage and screen, she made her drama debut in 1978, when she appeared in “Woman’s Face.” She continued to appear in popular titles throughout the early 1980s, and made a name for herself with a leading role in 1987 drama “Love and Ambition.” She took a two-decade-long hiatus from the acting scene in 1988 and married the same year. In 2008, she returned, starring in “Aeja's Older Sister, Minja.” Since then, she has gone on to appear in dozens of titles, including “I Am Legend” (2010), “Flower of Revenge” (2013), and “Big Man” (2014). More recently, she has appeared in “Secret Mother” (2018) and “Golden Garden” (2019).
