Meng Jia, more commonly known as simply as Jia, is a Chinese singer and actress. Jia was chosen to be in one of the two Chinese members of the K-pop girl group miss A in 2007 when JYP Entertainment held auditions at Jia’s school in Beijing. She and fellow miss A member Fei are considered to be two of the best-known Chinese female celebrities in South Korean entertainment. Although Jia made some television cameo appearances and appeared in many variety shows in both China and South Korea, she made her official acting debut in the Chinese drama “One and a Half Summer” with 2PM’s Nichkhun.
